Blaengwrach River Bridge

This project was delivered working as part of the structural steelwork fabricators team being responsible for design and general detailing services.

We worked closely with the ultimate clients’ team at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council to ensure that the structure was designed to specific requirements with respect to the carriage of key services located beneath the bridge, and, to ensure that the AIP documentation was delivered well in advance of fabrication works.

The bridge, of some 48m span, was fabricated in three sections and assembled local to the site. Installation of the complete structure was undertaken by crane off the A465 during a planned overnight closure.
